What areas do you service?
Blue Ocean Assistive Co. has a team of support workers along most parts of the South East Qld coastline and Northern NSW. We can deliver supports to the Brisbane, Redlands, Logan, Gold Coast and Northern NSW areas. If you are just outside of these areas and are seeking support please still contact us as we might still be able to assist.
Are you an NDIS registered provider?
No, however we are working towards registration by the end of 2025. Blue Ocean Assistive Co. adheres to the NDIS Code of Conduct and works in parallel with the NDIS Practice Standards. We are passionate about ensuring we provide individualised supports, respect the different values of individuals, uphold privacy and confidentiality, and facilitate independence.
Is there a minimum period of engagement for supports?
All supports delivered by Blue Ocean Assistive Co. must be for 2 hours or more.
How do I know your support workers are qualified to support me?
All support workers at Blue Ocean Assistive Co. have received comprehensive training prior to commencing employment and additional training is delivered on an as need and ongoing basis. All support workers have current First Aid and CPR Certificates, Blue Card, Yellow Card, Medication Administration Competency Certificate, completed all NDIS worker training modules, and have an unrestricted drivers licence with a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
What services do you provide?
We provide assistance at home, and in the community, tailored to meet individual needs.
Do you offer flexible support plans?
Absolutely! All of the supports we deliver align closely with your goals and preference, with a focus on capacity building.
Can I change my supports if my needs change?
Of course! Services can always be adjusted to reflect your current needs. Your Service Agreement and Service Plan will have details on how to do this.
I am NDIA Managed, can you support me?
Unfortunately, no. As an unregistered NDIS provider we are currently only able to support participants who are Plan Managed, or Self-Managed. If you wish to change the way that your NDIS Plan is managed, you can request this.
What do you charge for supports?
Blue Ocean Assistive Co. follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits to ensure we are compliant.
Can you help me with my NDIS Plan Reviews?
Certainly! We love to work closely with all of our participants to ensure that their NDIS Plans reflect their current needs and assist with preparing documentation, reports and evidence pertaining to the supports we deliver to you.
